Literacy Awards 2023

Soroptimist International of Brixham recently visited Furzeham Primary School.

Year 5 pupils entered the Annual Literacy Award; an initiative started by Brixham Soroptimists in memory of a former member, Brenda Kettle, who left a legacy and was very interested in literacy.

Immediate Past Presidents Chrissie Hannaford, Anne Stokes, along with club member Anne Adams, presented this years winner with the trophy and a book token, plus certificates for all those short listed, including two Highly Commended
