Mr Ian Handford of the Torbay Civic Society seen here with Brixham Soroptimist President Jean Tully, gave a fascinating talk on Angela Burdett-Coutts of the banking family.
She took over the bank from her grandfather, the original founder, then went on to found the NSPCC amongst other charities.
