Members of Brixham Soroptimist Club were made very welcome at the Bay tree restaurant in Brixham this week.
Members included Brixham club President Gill who welcomed SW and CI Regional President Daphne to the gathering.
Orange cafés are held all over the country and abroad to help highlight the abuse women and girls face worldwide.
Soroptimists Stand Up for women and girls helping to empower them to make positive lasting changes to their lives after domestic and sexual abuse. Members wear the colour orange as the UN designated colour which symbolises a brighter future, free of violence. Leaflets about our work were left on the café’s tables.
The staff at the café were very helpful indeed.
Soroptimists are taking action to end violence against women and girls worldwide.
